MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY 2023

28th May every year is Menstrual Hygiene Day. A day set aside to highlight the importance of menstrual care, empower women and girls to manage their menstruation safely, hygienically, with confidence and without shame.

The day is also used to raise awareness about issues faced by women and girls who do not have access to sanitary products.

As part of our activities earmarked for this year’s Menstrual Hygiene Day, we intend to raise 2000 sanitary pads for 1000 underprivileged girls in rural areas.

With the support of RAINS, Norsaac, TUMA PRSTIGE, GCB Aboabu Market branch and donations from the general public, we were able to celebrate the day last year and donated two sanitary pads each to over 400 underprivileged girls in the Kasuliyili community under Tolon District.

Are you a Government or Non-Governmental Organization, a corporate institution, a private business entity, a philanthropist or individual who is interested in supporting this course?

Please donate a sanitary pad for a girl in need to keep her in school and to have a menstrual dignified life.

Are you a streamtress or a tailor who also wishes to be part of this course? helping us by donating reusable pads of any quantity to help an underprivileged girl.
